Nonpartisan group calls for Christianity in politics


WASHINGTON – It’s fact that the first governmental meetings of the United States included the prayers of the Christian founders.

The founding documents mention “Creator” without hesitation, and the Founders clearly declared their reliance on God for the success of the new experiment in government by the people.

No more.

There are lawsuits about governments even allowing prayer in meetings, about government monuments referencing Christianity, Bible verses at government employee workstations and even the crosses on soldiers’ graves in national cemeteries.
