Deception Rules The Republican Party:
It has been predicted that in the last days great deception will sweep across the planet. It has also been said that “even many of the elect will be fooled”. That is a tragedy that we see being worked out even today as many Christians turn against a fellow believer who for years tarried alone as a Judge and battled unbelievable opposition for the Christian worldview that he holds and the Scriptures that he honours.
A warning to those who are now engaged in a football style “piling on”, another metaphor might be that of the suspension of the guiding of the Spirit when Scripture is clear about our responsibility to honor those of the household of faith. This is the man who stood firm in honouring the 10 Commandments, God’s Laws written for the guidance and protection of all mankind. If one were to show ones understanding of priority let us remember that God honours His Word even above His own Name. Any one of us who will honour God in our obedience to His commandments are promised a reward that has immeasurable and eternal worth. I cannot imagine anyone who calls themselves a “believer”, a sanctified Christian who would allow the reputation of a champion for Christ to be besmirched and dragged through the mud as is happening to Judge Moore. What these people “measure out” will be returned to them. I do not know how that will take place but believe you me that it is a fearful thing to have God’s wrath aimed at you and the pride that accompanies self rule and judgement of others.
Be careful those of you who are taking part in the tearing down of one of Gods men. We are not perfect and neither are we without sin. If it were not for the cleansing blood of Christ we would die in our trespasses and sins. God loves Roy Moore and has seen fit to grant him forgiveness of his sins and the hope of eternal life after this one. He is one of Gods children, do not raise your hand to strike one of Gods own whether physically or verbally or through the murder of his reputation, the consequences for this reach into the third and fourth generation.
Be careful folks, “choose you this day whom you will serve”. As for me and my house “we will serve the Lord”. Who accuses the brethren according to the Scriptures? Its not Gods elect.
