Jim Jordan scolds 'obsessed' Dems for handling of Trump probes

“Obsessed” with Donald Trump, House Democratic leaders are abusing their power to probe the president’s personal dealings, charged Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, in a letter.

Jordan accused Democratic House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings of executing a secret Memorandum of Understanding with other House Democratic chairmen to target President Trump, the Daily Caller reported.

Jordan, the ranking member on the Oversight Committee, charged Monday that Cummings kept Republicans in the dark as he coordinated the MOU with House Financial Services Chairwoman Maxine Waters and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff.

Democratic senators critical of President Trump recently were stunned into silence when Attorney General William Barr said he believed the Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign in 2016.

Now that the report of special counsel Robert Mueller is out concluding there was no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are calling for an investigation of the origins of the collusion allegations.

Obama in 2016: No one could 'rig' elections

Barack Obama in 2016, even as his administration spied on the Trump campaign to build a Russia-collusion case, was claiming there’s no way election results could be influenced.

The comment by the former president was noted on Thursday by talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh after the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report concluding there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
